IRCTC tour package for Vaishno Devi trip

Indian Railways has come up with a special package beginning on July 18 for Vaishno Devi shrine.

The package has been named "Matarani Rajdhani Package". 

The package is for 3N/4D from Delhi to Jammu.

After the Char dhaam yatra package for the devotees, Indian Railways has come up with a special package for Vaishno Devi.

“Matarani Rajdhani Package” has been specifically designed for the pilgrims who have been longing to visit the holy shrine since last year. The package is for 3 nights 4 days. Beginning on 18th July from Delhi to Jammu, the special package is priced at 6105/- Full seat will be allotted to children in the age group of 5 to 11 years.

The train will run daily on weekdays. The train will have 18 berths in 3rd AC. Travellers will be provided with hotel accommodation with AC rooms. Sight-seeing of Kand Kandoli Temple, Raghunath ji Temple, Bage Bahu garden will also be provide. The “Matarani Rajdhani Package” includes travel insurance.

Passengers coming from other states are required to carry their negative RT-PCR report issued within 72 hours of entering the state. Those not carrying the report will have to undergo rapid antigen testing screening (mandatory) at the time of arrival at the station. Only passengers testing negative will be allowed to carry on the journey.

Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine Board as safety measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 has advised pilgrims to visit the official website of the shrine board for latest update before booking this package. “As maximum ceiling limit on daily darshan is fixed and administered by Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Shrine Board, it is recommended to book Yatra Parchi online through official website of shrine board Katra,” IRCTC said.
