Udaipur, January 27, 2025 - Passengers traveling to and from Jaipur Junction should stay alert while booking tickets for journeys in March and April. Several trains will not operate from Jaipur Junction due to redevelopment work. They will instead originate or terminate at alternate stations like Khatipura, Sanganer, or Durgapura.
Redevelopment work, including the construction of an overhead concourse at platform numbers 2 and 3, has led to changes in train operations. Some trains have been partially canceled or diverted to other stations or routes.
Trains Terminating at Khatipura
Train 14715 (Hisar-Jaipur): Will run only till Khatipura from March 1 to April 30. Services between Khatipura and Jaipur are canceled.
Jaipur-Bhatinda Train: Will operate only till Khatipura from March 2 to April 1.
Nagpur-Jaipur Weekly Train: Will terminate at Khatipura from March 6 to April 24.
Jaipur-Jodhpur Train: Will run between Khatipura and Jodhpur from March 17 to April 1.
Trains Operating from Sanganer and Durgapura
Bandra Terminus-Jaipur Train: Will terminate at Sanganer from March 17 to April 28.
Jaipur-Bayana Train: Will operate from Durgapura between March 17 and April 1.
Trains on Diverted Routes
Barmer-Delhi Train: Will operate through the Phulera-Ringas-Rewari route from March 17 to April 28.
Bandra Terminus-Shri Ganganagar Train: Will run on the diverted Ringas-Phulera route from March 16 to April 30.
NWR’s Assurance
Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief PRO of North Western Railway, stated that the changes aim to minimize inconvenience. An official added, "Many of these trains will still pass through Jaipur, ensuring connectivity."
Passengers are advised to check updated schedules while planning their travel.
