Jaipur–Udaipur City Special Train Now Daily Service; Check Fare Cut
Indian Railways converts Jaipur–Udaipur City special train into a daily Superfast Express from April 15, 2026; check timetable and reduced fares
Udaipur, April 14, 2026 - Keeping in mind passenger rush and convenience, Indian Railways has converted the Jaipur–Udaipur City–Jaipur Special service into a regular daily Superfast Express service. According to Chief Public Relations Officer Amit Sudarshan of North Western Railway:
- Train No. 20993 (Jaipur–Udaipur City Superfast Express) will operate daily from April 15, 2026, departing Jaipur at 06:10 am and arriving at Udaipur City at 01:30 pm.
- Train No. 20994 (Udaipur City–Jaipur Superfast Express) will depart Udaipur City daily at 03:05 pm and reach Jaipur at 10:25 pm.
En route, the train will halt at Kanakpura, Phulera, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Nasirabad, Bijaynagar, Bhilwara, Chanderiya, Kapasan, Mavli and Rana Pratap Nagar.
The train will have a total of 15 coaches, including two Third AC, two AC Chair Cars, three Sleeper Class, six General Coaches, one Power Car and one Guard Coach.
Reduced Fare
With the train becoming a regular service, fares have been reduced. Earlier, the fares for this train which operated as a Special Service during COVID-19 were higher. But now, passengers traveling between Udaipur, Ajmer, and Jaipur will now enjoy significant savings.
Previously, the fare for the Special trains from Udaipur to Ajmer or Jaipur was Rs 1,035 for Third AC. Now, passengers will need to pay only Rs 770 for Third AC from Udaipur to Jaipur. Meanwhile, the fare for Third AC between Jaipur and Ajmer will now be Rs 565.
The Chair Car fare for special trains from Udaipur to Ajmer or Jaipur was Rs 800. Now, the Chair Car fare from Udaipur to Jaipur has been reduced to Rs 645, while the fare between Jaipur and Ajmer will be Rs 320.
The Sleeper class fare for special trains from Udaipur to Ajmer or Jaipur was Rs 395. Now, the Sleeper fare from Udaipur to Jaipur has been reduced to Rs 305, while the fare between Jaipur and Ajmer will be Rs 180.
