The district administration, in collaboration with Salumbar and the Tourism Department, is set to start a vibrant festival aimed at showcasing Jaisamand Lake as a premier tourist destination. The festival's inauguration will commence today on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 with a series of engaging events centered around the worship and aarti of Narmadeshwar Mahadev.

The festivities will begin bright and early with a ceremonial lamp lighting at the Narmadeshwar Mahadev Temple from 6:30 to 7:00 in the morning, followed by an invigorating yoga program at Jaisamand Palace at 7:00 to 7:30. 

Adventure enthusiasts can look forward to a thrilling trek up to Roothi Rani Mahal, scheduled from 7:30 to 9:30. Welcoming of esteemed guests will take place from 10:30 to 11:00, paving the way for a lively array of sports activities from 11:00 to 2:00.

The afternoon promises an array of entertainment, starting with a captivating puppetry program from 3:00 to 3:30, followed by a mesmerizing magic show from 3:30 to 4:00. A cultural extravaganza will unfold from 4:00 to 4:30, featuring traditional performances, while a non-dance spectacle in special costumes will grace the stage from 4:30 to 5:00.

Delving into the rich history of Jaisamand, attendees can enjoy a presentation from 5:00 to 5:45, followed by a captivating storytelling session from 5:45 to 6:00. The evening culminates in a multimedia presentation highlighting the historical significance of Jaisamand, accompanied by lamp lighting and prayers, promising a memorable start to the festival celebration.
