Forest department opened up the Jungle Camp for students and tourists at the forest section behind Badi Lake. The camp site was developed last year for the purpose of tenting by the Rajasthan Tourism department.
The camp site has 10 tenting platforms and a view point. A wide variety of medicinal and herbal plants have also been planted around the area and the tourism department has taken up the mantle for development of the site. The safety issues at the site will be taken care off by the Forest Department and Morwaniya Samiti.
Visitors will be charged Rs 20 for carrying out the management and development of the site. Parking charges for Four wheeler will be Rs 40 and for Two wheeler will be Rs 10. Children below 10 years will not be charged.
This site gives Udaipurites another option to be closer to nature.
