Kamakhya-Udaipur Train to Depart 5 Hours Late on May 1

Several rail services on NW Railway route to be impacted by non-interlocking work on Lucknow division of NE Railway

 
Udaipur Train Update

Udaipur, April 25, 2025 – Non-interlocking work is being carried out on the Lucknow division of the North Eastern Railway for laying a third line between Kusmhi-Gorakhpur Cantt-Gorakhpur Junction. Owing to this work, the following train services operated under North Western Railway will be affected, according to Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway:

Rescheduled Train Services (from station of origin)

Train No. 19616: Kamakhya-Udaipur City Express, departing from Kamakhya on May 1, will depart five hours late.

Partially Cancelled Train Services (from station of origin)

Train No. 12556: Bathinda-Gorakhpur Express, departing from Bathinda on April 26, will operate only up to Basti station. The service will be partially cancelled between Basti and Gorakhpur.

Diverted Train Services (from station of origin)

Train No. 19269: Porbandar-Muzaffarpur Express, departing from Porbandar on April 25, will run via a diverted route: Lucknow Junction, Maa Belha Devi Dham Pratapgarh, Varanasi, Aunrihar Junction, Chhapra. Owing to the diversion, this train will not halt at the following stations: Gonda, Gorakhpur, Siswa Bazar, Bagaha, Narkatiaganj, Bettiah, Sugauli, Bapudham Motihari, Chakia and Mehsi.
