Kataria suggests proposals for Tourism Boost in Udaipur

Kataria announced various proposals that are underway to promote tourism in Udaipur. He stressed on the need of extending tourist facilities while keeping the environment clean and plastic free so that the visitors can take back beautiful images of the city.
He emphasized proposals including an eco-pathway from Sajjangarh to Badi Talab. Similarly, connecting Doodh Talai to Lake Pichola and developing adjoining Audhi region into a tourist spot is also in process. During the event, Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari, DFO T.Mohan Raj, Dr. Satish Sharma and many others were present.
Talking more about the Bird Park that will be developed with a budget of Rs. 11 Crore, Kataria mentioned that the Gulab Bagh would be state’s first all Birds Park with a variety of local and scheduled species. Constructed for over 51135.47 sq meters, the Bird Park is conceptualized around Gulab Bagh building which is a heritage one made in 1862 so that the visitors can rejoice the natural environment.
Rahul Bhatnagar, Chief conservator forest (wildlife) said that a sum of Rs. 184.27 Lac is estimated on infrastructure development and Rs. 965.25 Lac on enclosures construction work. The department proposed for a museum and education center too where people would get information on the avian varieties across the globe. The park will also house vet hospital and feed store.
