Udaipur, December 13,2024 - Mangaluru International Airport will soon offer passengers from coastal Karnataka better connectivity to South-East Asia. Air India Express is introducing a direct flight to Singapore starting January 21, 2025.

This will be the first international destination outside West Asia to be connected directly from Mangaluru. Currently, Mangaluru airport provides direct flights only to West Asian destinations.

Flight IX 862 will depart Mangaluru at 5:55 am IST on Tuesdays and Fridays, reaching Singapore at 1:25 pm local time. The return flight IX 861 will depart Singapore at 2:25 pm local time and arrive in Mangaluru at 4:55 pm IST.

Additional Flights to Delhi and Pune

Air India Express is also adding more direct flights to Delhi and Pune. From January 4, 2025, flights between Mangaluru and Pune will operate on Saturdays.

• Flight IX 2256 will leave Mangaluru at 8 am and reach Pune at 9:25 am.

• Flight IX 2257 will leave Pune at 9:55 am and reach Mangaluru at 11:40 am.

• Another flight, IX 2236, will leave Mangaluru at 6:30 pm and arrive in Pune at 8 pm.

• Flight IX 2237 will depart Pune at 8:35 pm and reach Mangaluru at 10:05 pm.

From February 1, 2025, Air India Express will start daily flights between Mangaluru and Delhi.

• Flight IX 2768 will leave Mangaluru at 6:40 am and arrive in Delhi at 9:35 am.

• Flight IX 1552 will leave Delhi at 6:40 am and reach Mangaluru at 9:35 am.

These new flights aim to enhance connectivity for travelers from the region.
