Amrit Station Project: 50 Percent Work at Mavli Station Has Been Completed
The remaining work, as per the NWR will be completed before the end of 2025.
Udaipur, Sept 27, 2025: Mavli Junction on the Udaipur - Chittorgarh section, is one of the stations that was earmarked for redevelopment under the centres Amrit Station Project. The cost allocated to this project was Rs 21 Cr. As per the updates from NW Railways, more than 50% of the work towards this redevelopment has been completed at Mavli Jn. The remaining work, as per the NWR will be completed before the end of 2025.

Details of the Redevelopment Works
- The new station building is being constructed over 1,428 sqmt land, at a cost of Rs 14Cr.
- At the time of publishing this post, the main station building, the platform shelter and booking counter areas have been completed.
- Work on the circulating area is underway. The surfacing of the 9000sqmt circulating area is being done.
- Surfacing work of the 1315sqtmt parking area i also underway.
- Foundation, surface work and column installation work of the 12mtr wide foot overbridge has been completed.
- Public announcement system work has been completed.
- Coach information board has been installed.
- Work on standard ramp, disabled parking and low-height ticket booking counters is underway.
- Two new elevators are being installed.
- Work related to promotion of art and culture of the region is being carried out over a 1,000 sqmt area;
- Waiting Halls, restrooms and an additional entry to the building are being developed.
