On the Mathura-Delhi railway line, near Vrindavan Road railway station, 27 wagons of a goods train derailed on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. This incident caused delays for the Nizamuddin-Udaipur Express train for the second consecutive day.

Due to the rerouted path, the Nizamuddin-Udaipur Express reached Udaipur about nine hours late. Normally, the train arrives in Udaipur at 7:20 AM, but it reached at 4:00 PM on Thursday.

According to sources, the train departed from Nizamuddin on Thursday evening at its scheduled time. The route was changed to go through Rewari, Ringas, and Jaipur before arriving in Udaipur.

Despite the delays in reaching Udaipur, the train departed on time from Udaipur at 6:30 PM for Nizamuddin.
