Now, you will be able to sit back and enjoy reading on banks of Fateh Sagar lake with the setting up of the Mobile Library at Fateh Sagar. This library is being set up by UMC as part of the Happiness Index Project.

The library will host over 1500 books and will mostly revolve around the theme of happiness and positive thinking. Udaipurites will be able to enjoy the books at no cost.

UMC has prepared a van at cost of Rs 7 Lakh for this purpose. The van will host books on sociology, history, story books, philosophy, magazines and inspirational books.The books will be available in Hindi and English languages.

The mobile library will be at Fateh Sagar from today onwards. Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will inaugurate the library tomorrow.

The mobile library will move from Fatehsagar overflow till Dewali end. The van will operate from 8 am to 6 pm. Udaipurites can take advantage of the books at no cost and will have to deposit the same after reading.
