Mount Abu witnessed a significant surge in tourist numbers during the Diwali festival season, from October 31 to November 6, 2024. The hill station attracted over 95,000 tourists in just 7 days, with 19,166 vehicles arriving.

Tourist Spots Bustling with Activity

All major tourist spots in Mount Abu were crowded with visitors, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the Diwali season. This year marked the highest number of tourists in the last three years.

Record-Breaking Tourist Numbers

The data from the toll naka shows that 19,166 vehicles brought over 95,000 tourists to Mount Abu during the Diwali season. This is the highest tourist turnout since 2021.

Limited Hotel Stays Affect Business

Despite the large number of tourists, very few stayed overnight in Mount Abu. This resulted in limited benefits for the hotel industry, which expected more bookings during the busy season.

Comparing Previous Years

In comparison, in 2023, between November 12 and November 17, 15,666 vehicles brought tourists to the hill station. In 2022, from October 24 to October 29, 15,751 vehicles arrived. Similarly, in 2021, from November 6 to November 10, 17,258 vehicles brought visitors to Mount Abu.
