MP Rawat to Raise Demands for Udaipur-Delhi Vande Bharat, Udaipur-South Rail Link
North Western Railway to hold divisional MPs’ meeting on September 19 in Jaipur
Udaipur, September 2, 2025 – A meeting of Members of Parliament (MPs) from constituencies under the jurisdiction of the Ajmer and Jodhpur divisions of North Western Railway will be held on September 19 at the North Western Railway headquarters in Jaipur, in the presence of the General Manager of North Western Railway.
MP Dr Manna Lal Rawat from Udaipur will also participate in this meeting.
The agenda will include discussions on proposals and developmental issues related to the Ajmer and Jodhpur railway divisions.
In the meeting, Dr Rawat is expected to raise several key issues concerning public safety and convenience, including:
- Launching a train from Udaipur connecting South and North India
- Starting a Vande Bharat train between Udaipur and Delhi
- The need for a train from Udaipur to Sammed Shikharji
- Doubling of the Udaipur–Chittorgarh railway line
These proposals aim to improve rail connectivity and enhance passenger facilities in the region.
