To manage the heavy rush during Raksha Bandhan, the Railways is running special trains to provide relief to passengers. Among these, a special train has been introduced between Mumbai and Jaipur.
This train will operate between Bandra Terminus in Mumbai and Dher ka Balaji, near Jaipur, making two round trips.
According to Rohit Malviya, Commercial Manager of the Kota Railway Division, the train will start from Bandra Terminus and will stop at several stations, including Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nagda, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Durgapura, and Jaipur, before reaching Dher ka Balaji.
On the return journey, the train will halt at the same stations. It will have 20 coaches in total, including Sleeper, Third AC, General, and SLR compartments.
Train number 09037 will depart from Bandra Terminus on the night of August 15 at 9:40 PM. It will reach Kota the next morning on August 16th at 10:45 AM, with a 10-minute stop before departing at 10:55 AM. The train will then reach Jaipur at 5:25 PM and proceed to Dher ka Balaji, arriving at 4:00 PM.
Similarly, Train number 09038 will depart from Dher ka Balaji on Friday, August 16, at 6:25 PM. It will arrive at Jaipur Junction at 6:35 PM and depart at 6:45 PM after a 10-minute stop. The train will reach Kota at 11:35 PM and leave at 11:45 PM, arriving at Bandra Terminus the next day, August 17, at 1:00 PM.
