To enhance eco and adventure tourism in Udaipur, the Forest Department has introduced two exciting activities at the picturesque Nagar Van Udhyan (Valley of Flowers) situated at the Chirwa Ghata on NH8 Udaipur. The newly added attractions, sky cycling and wall climbing, promise unforgettable experiences amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of the region.

Ahead of the official inauguration, the Forest Department conducted a trial run of both sky cycling and wall climbing, gearing up for an exciting unveiling once the model code of conduct restrictions are lifted. As anticipation builds for the official inauguration, visitors can expect reasonable pricing for the adventure activities, with sky cycling estimated to cost between Rs 150 to 200, wall climbing tickets ranging from Rs 100 to 150, and an expected rental fee of around Rs 300 for the Udaipur Swing.

The project, which includes the development of these adventure activities, including the installation of a swing similar to Bali's famous Swing, was initiated following tenders issued in October 2023. With a total expenditure of Rs 48 lakh, the project aims to increase the tourism offerings in Udaipur.

Sky cycling enthusiasts are in for a treat as the newly constructed route near the zip line spans 85 meters, offering riders panoramic views of the entire valley. Meanwhile, the wall climbing facility, towering at a height of 60 feet, provides adventurers with a thrilling opportunity to experience new heights, while enjoying the scenic vistas.

In addition to the attractions at Nagar Van Udhyan, visitors can experience other activities across various parks in the region. In the park on the mountain, you can enjoy breathtaking views while sky cycling. At a higher spot, there's a natural swing in Sandol Mata Park, Udaipur, with a 200-meter zip line and water roller. Mewar Biological Diversity Park has a 100-meter zip line, and in the Valley of Flowers, there's a 700-meter zip line. Also, Luv Kush Garden has a Laxman swing for kids.
