Chatrapal receiving award from Divya Thani of Condé Nast Traveller magazine.

Udaipur has been voted as the favourite tourist destination based on tourists’ choice. That is another feather in Udaipur’s cap.  Condé Nast Traveller-Readers Travel Award organised a program in Aero City, New Delhi. Udaipur was awarded as runner-up on National level in this program by Divya Thani, Editor in Chief of Condé Nast Traveller magazine.

Chatrapal from Rajasthan Tourism Information Centre received the award for Udaipur as “Favourite Leisure Destination in India”. Divya Thani said that Udaipur is known as “Venice of East” worldwide and is a beautiful city of lakes. People around the globe love to visit Udaipur which is not only their favourite vacation spot but is also gaining popularity as a centre for destination wedding.

Personalities from travel trade and many other significant people were present on this occasion. It may be noted that Udaipur was recently awarded as the “Best Wedding Destination” based on public opinion.
