New Flyovers to Make Jaipur-Delhi Travel Smoother
Travelling on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway is set to become much easier with the Bilaspur and Rathiwas flyovers scheduled to open in October
UdaipurTimes, Oct 8, 2026 - Travelling on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway is set to become much easier with motorists expected to get major relief from traffic congestion. According to available information, the Bilaspur and Rathiwas flyovers are scheduled to open in October.
The Bilaspur six-lane flyover will be approximately 1 km long and is being constructed at an estimated cost of around Rs 12 crore. A three-lane service road is also being developed.
Construction work on the flyover at Bilaspur Chowk is progressing rapidly, according to available information. One section of the Bilaspur flyover is expected to open this month for traffic travelling on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway. Once it opens, commuters travelling towards Delhi, Gurugram, Manesar, Dharuhera, Neemrana and Jaipur are expected to benefit significantly.
Reports say construction of the Rathiwas flyover has reached its final stage. Both sections are expected to open later in October. The flyover will have three lanes in each direction and is expected to provide relief to commuters travelling from Gurugram towards Rewari and Jaipur. Once operational, the flyover will eliminate the need for highway traffic to pass directly through Rathiwas Chowk.
The distance between Gurugram and Rewari is around 55 km, but the journey can often take 3 to 5 hours because of traffic congestion. Once the flyover becomes operational, travel time is expected to reduce significantly, potentially bringing the journey down to around one hour, depending on traffic conditions.
