New Volvo & AC Bus Services from Udaipur to Jodhpur and Jaisalmer

Udaipur, Sept 4, 2025 - The Deluxe Depot of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) located in Jaipur has launched two new Volvo bus services on the Udaipur-Jodhpur route and, for the first time ever, started a direct AC bus service from Udaipur to Jaisalmer.

Since there is no direct train or air service between Udaipur and Jodhpur, the addition of two new Volvo buses is expected to bring significant relief to passengers. Luxury bus services on this route had been suspended for the past year and were replaced by two 2x2 AC buses operating under contract, which will continue to run alongside the new services.

Bus Services on Udaipur–Jodhpur Route

A total of 19 buses are currently operating on the Udaipur–Jodhpur route. These are:

• 15 Express buses
• 2 AC buses
• 2 newly-introduced Volvo buses

Bus Fare on Udaipur–Jodhpur Route

• Express bus: Rs 315
• AC bus: Rs 570
• Volvo bus: Rs 655

Timings

• Express buses run frequently from 5:45 am to 10:00 pm
• AC buses depart at 7:15 am and 2:20 pm
• Volvo buses depart at 6:00 am and 4:00 pm
