-The main spots that close around 7 or 7:30 p.m. will be open for tourists until 9 p.m.

-This amendment in night-tourism will be quite beneficial for Udaipur tourism.

Udaipur tourism is in for some gains after a span of one year. With the destination weddings, it was being hoped that tourism will finally get back on tracks. But the new strain again created tensions for the tourism industry. Now that domestic tourism is picking up speed, the industry is expecting a good boost in Udaipur tourism.

To add to this, it has been decided to increase the time limit for the tourists during the night so that more and more tourists can visit the various spots keeping in view the mandates of social distancing to be followed everywhere. Night tourism will fetch more income for the industry. Certain spots which normally close down between 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. will now be open for tourists until 9 p.m.

Prominent tourist places like Lok Kala Mandal, Moti Magri, Fish Aquarium, rope-way leading to Karni Mata Temple, Pratap Gaurav Kendra etc. can be visited comfortably by the tourists. The shows in Lok Kala Mandal used to end by 7 p.m. and this was extended to 9 p.m. some time back for the tourists. Moti Magri used to close down by 7:30 p.m. which has now been extended to 9 p.m.

The amendments in the activities and timings of night tourism will also be beneficial for the tour-guides, tour operators and the hoteliers adding to the economic values. Apart from this, more and more tourists would be encouraged to visit Udaipur which will provide the much needed boost.
