Track Work Complete; Normal Train Services Resume from Udaipur Station
Tracks 9 and 10 are now linked to the Umra line, enabling smoother train movement; train services resume normally from Feb 25
Udaipur, Feb 25, 2026 - The track joining work at Udaipur City railway station is now complete. Track numbers 9 and 10 have now been linked to the Umra line. Earlier, only Track 9 was connected and that, too, from the Rana Pratap Nagar side.
With this arrangement, trains will be able to arrive at and depart from Track No. 9 from both sides. Meanwhile, on Track No. 10, trains will be able to arrive from the Umra and halt there.
Because of the non-interlocking work at Udaipur station to commission the electric loco trip shed and to convert passenger platform line number 10 along with stabling line number 9 into a running line, train operations were affected. Around 14 trains from Udaipur City railway station were partially cancelled on Tuesday (February 24). Of these, 12 trains operated from Rana Pratap Nagar station, while two operated from Mavli Junction railway station.
From Wednesday (February 25) onwards, train services will resume as normal.
