First Airport in Northeast India to Achieve Level 2 Customer Accreditation

Udaipur, December 11,2024 - Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBI) in Guwahati has become the first airport in Northeast India to secure Level 2 accreditation for customer experience from the Airports Council International (ACI).

The airport, operated by AdAirport Holdings Limited, part of Adani Enterprises, has focused on enhancing passenger convenience through technology and digital solutions.

Accreditation Based on Passenger Feedback

The Level 2 accreditation reflects the airport’s commitment to improving its services by actively considering passenger feedback. A Customer Response Management System has been implemented to address concerns and enhance customer satisfaction.

Passenger Statistics

  • From November 6 to 16, 2024, the airport handled 1.74 lakh passengers and 1,202 flights.
  • On November 14, LGBI recorded its busiest day of the year with: 20,413 passengers and 146 flights
  • On November 10, it managed: 20,016 passengers and 131 flights

Record-Breaking International Traffic

In October 2024, LGBI handled a record 7,651 international passengers across 104 flights. On average, the airport serves 17,500 passengers daily while managing multiple flights.
