-There were 7 flights in April with barely 3 passengers.
-545 flights in November recorded 53,629 passengers.
It has been 8 months since lockdown. The virus is getting even more disastrous. Travel is one thing which cannot be avoided, but the pandemic almost put a halt to things and every mode of transport was impacted.
Flights also suffered but took back to wings since June and since then the graph is rising every month. From April to October, the graph recordings indicate that there are good times to come for the flying industry. Where there were barely 3 passengers flying in April, the month of November saw a grand time with more than 53 thousand passengers and the number of flights also went from 7 to 545. This can probably be due to the reason that this is the wedding season and people do not want to postpone the wedding until the next year and secondly due to employment demands.
As per the records, 70,904 people flew from April to October from Udaipur airport. There November alone recorded 53,629 passengers taking flights to different destinations. As compared to the charts of October, the number in November went up by 26,206. As informed by the Director of Udaipur airport, traffic has increased on Udaipur-Delhi-Mumbai-Bengaluru-Hyderabad-Ahmedabad sectors. With this pressure, the number of flights has also been increased to cater to the needs of the passengers. It has also been specified that none of the employees from these sectors have been tested positive and even the passengers have been reported safe. It is yet another issue that Udaipur has recorded more than 9 thousand positives till date.
