Railway Alert for Passengers: Several Trains Affected Between Oct 2 and 11
Non-Interlocking (NI) block will be undertaken by North Western Railway for doubling work on the Ajmer–Chanderiya railway section
Udaipur, Sept 3, 2026 - A Non-Interlocking (NI) block will be undertaken by North Western Railway for doubling work on the Ajmer–Chanderiya railway section, between Jharwasa–Bandanwara and Singawal stations. As a result of this, several trains originating from Udaipur and Ajmer will be affected in October 2026. According to Amit Sudarshan, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway, the following train services operated by North Western Railway will be impacted:
Cancelled
Train No. 19606 Udaipur City–Madar Express will remain cancelled on October 8.
Partially Cancelled
Train No. 19606 Udaipur City–Madar Express: From October 9 to October 11, the train will depart from Udaipur City but will operate only up to Ajmer. Service between Ajmer and Madar will remain cancelled.
Train No. 12992 Jaipur–Udaipur City Express: From October 9 to October 11, the train will depart from Jaipur but will operate only up to Rana Pratap Nagar. Service between Rana Pratap Nagar and Udaipur City will remain cancelled.
Diverted
Train No. 17605 Kacheguda–Bhagat Ki Kothi Express: The train departing from Kacheguda on October 2 and October 5, will operate via the diverted route Ratlam–Kota–Sawai Madhopur–Jaipur–Phulera. On the diverted route, it will halt at Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Degana and Jodhpur stations.
Train No. 14801 Jodhpur–Indore Express: From October 9 to October 11, the train departing from Jodhpur will operate via the diverted route Ajmer–Jaipur–Sawai Madhopur–Kota–Ratlam. On the diverted route, it will halt at Kishangarh, Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Nagda and Ratlam stations.
Train No. 12996 Ajmer–Bandra Terminus Express: The train departing from Ajmer on October 10, will operate via the diverted route Abu Road–Palanpur–Sabarmati–Vadodara. On the diverted route, it will halt at Beawar, Marwar Junction, Phalna, Abu Road, Palanpur and Sabarmati stations.

Train No. 12992 Jaipur–Udaipur City Express: From October 9 to October 11, the train will depart from Jaipur 2 hours later than its scheduled departure time.
Train No. 19606 Udaipur City–Madar Express: From October 9 to October 11, the train will depart from Udaipur City 1 hour and 30 minutes later than its scheduled departure time.
Train No. 20995 Ajmer–Bandra Terminus Express: On October 10, the train will depart from Ajmer 1 hour later than its scheduled departure time.
Train No. 17080 Jaipur–Hyderabad Express: On October 11, the train will depart from Jaipur 1 hour later than its scheduled departure time.
Regulated
Train No. 19609 Udaipur City–Yog Nagari Rishikesh Express: The train departing from Udaipur City on October 10, will be regulated for 40 minutes between Bhilwara and Mokhampura.
