North Western sub-division of the Indian Railways announced that the Indore-Udaipur City-Indore special train will begin from 28 December 2020. This train was not plying during the lockdown period and was also not included in the first list of special trains post lockdown. The train will have 100% reservation coaches. This train will ply on all days till further notice.

The first journey from Indore will begin on 28 December 2020 and the first train from Udaipur will begin on 29 December. The standard schedule will be as follows:

The interim stops will include Rana Pratap Nagar Station (Udaipur), Mavli, Fatehnagar, Kapasan, Chittorgarh, Nimbaheda, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Jawra, Ratlam, Kahachrod, Nagda, Ujjain and Devas.

Narmada Express begins

The Narmada Express special between Indore and BIlaspur will begin on Saturday December 26. The first journey from Bilaspur will be on 26 December while the trip from Indore to Bilaspur will begin from 27 December. The standard schedule will be as follow:

The interim stops will include Uslapur, Anuppur, Jabalpur, Hoshangabad, Bhopal, Maksi, Ujjain among the 42 stops.

‘रामायण यात्रा’, विशेष ट्रेन इंदौर से 26 फरवरी को
रेलवे भगवान श्रीराम के जीवन से जुड़े और रामायण में उल्लेख किए गए विभिन्न तीर्थस्थलों के दर्शन के लिए स्पेशल ट्रेन इंदौर से 26 फरवरी को चलाएगा। आईआरसीटीसी ने भारत दर्शन विशेष टूरिस्ट ट्रेन द्वारा ‘रामायण यात्रा’ के लिए बुकिंग शुरू कर दी है। इंदौर से आईआरसीटीसी की लंबे समय बाद स्पेशल ट्रेन रवाना होगी। आखिरी ट्रेन नवंबर-2019 में गंगासागर के लिए गई थी।
