In response to increased passenger demand, North Western Railways has added 12 temporary coaches to seven pairs of trains. These trains run between Udaipur and various other cities, providing additional capacity for travellers.
The cities benefiting from these extra coaches include Jaipur, Delhi, Asarwa, Kolkata, Khajuraho, Shalimar, among one holiday train. This move is aimed at ensuring more comfort and convenience for passengers during their journeys.
The Trains Included
- The daily running Chetak Express will have 1 Second AC and 2 Second Sleeper coaches from Delhi between July 1 to July 31 and from Udaipur from July 2 to August 1.
- The Udaipur-Asarva Express will have 1 General coach from Udaipur between July 1 to July 31, and from Asarva from July 2 to August 1.
- In the Khajuraho Express, 1 additional General coach has been added from Udaipur from July 1 to July 31, and from Khajuraho from July 3 to August 2.
- In the Udaipur-Jaipur Intercity Express, there will be 2 General coaches, 1 Second Chair Car, and 1 Third AC Economy coach from July 1 to July 31.
- In the Holiday Special train, 1 General class coach has been added from July 1 to July 31 and from Udaipur City from July 2 to August 1.
- In the Weekly Special Shalimar Express, there will be 1 Third AC Economy coach from Udaipur from July 6 to July 27, and from Shalimar from July 7 to July 28.
- In the New Jalpaiguri Express, there will be 1 Third AC Economy coach from Udaipur from July 6 to July 27, and from New Jalpaiguri from July 8 to July 29.
