Railways Launches RailOne - One-Stop Platform for All Services

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw unveils app on the 40th Foundation Day of CRIS

July 2, 2025 - Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw launched an all-in-one RailOne mobile app on July 1 during the 40th Foundation Day celebration of CRIS (Centre for Railway Information Systems). This app will give users a complete package of Indian Railways services.

With RailOne, railway passengers will be able to access services related to reservations, platform tickets, train and PNR inquiries, ticket refunds, food orders, and freight transport all on a single platform.

The Minister said the aim of the app is to provide a better experience for the public. It  is designed to offer passengers a seamless and unified experience across all major railway services.

Registration process is easy and fast. New users can register on the app with minimal information while those looking for inquiries can log in as guests using just their mobile number and an OTP.

  • Booking of reserved and unreserved tickets
  • Booking of platform tickets
  • Checking PNR status
  • Information on coach position at railway stations
  • Inquiries regarding freight and parcel delivery
  • Live train status
  • Rail Madad access — passengers can directly register complaints
  • Single sign-on — users don’t need to remember multiple passwords
  • Users can log in using their existing credentials from the Rail Connect or UTSOnMobile apps
  • R-Wallet facility — users can request refunds if their journey is cancelled
