Railways to add temporary coaches in 7 trains from Udaipur

For the upcoming summer holidays, the railway authorities have taken steps to improve passenger comfort by introducing additional temporary coaches to various trains across the state. A total of 65 extra coaches have been allocated to 35 trains due to travel demand during the vacation.

Among these enhancements, 13 temporary coaches have been included into the operations of 7 trains from Udaipur. These supplementary coaches are set to give service throughout the month of April, ensuring a smoother journey for passengers.

  1. In the Delhi Sarai-Udaipur City-Delhi Sarai route, passengers can expect enhanced facilities from April 1 till April 30, including the addition of 1 Second AC, 1 Third AC, and 2 Sleeper coaches departing from Delhi Sarai. Similarly, from April 2 to May 1, identical enhancements will be implemented for journeys originating from Udaipur.
  2. The Udaipur City-Jaipur-Udaipur route is also set to undergo improvements, with the inclusion of 2 General coaches, 1 Second Sitting, and 1 Third AC coach from April 1 to April 30. 
  3. Additionally, the Udaipur City-New Jalpaiguri-Udaipur weekly train will feature a temporary Third AC coach from Udaipur City between April 6 and April 27, and from New Jalpaiguri between April 8 and April 29.
  4. For those travelling on the Udaipur City-Khajuraho route, a Second Sitting coach will be available from Udaipur between April 1 and April 30, and from Khajuraho between April 3 and May 2.
  5. Furthermore, the Udaipur-Shalimar train will see the addition of a Third AC coach from April 6 to April 27, departing from Udaipur, and from April 7 to April 28 departing from Shalimar.
  6. In Jaipur-Udaipur-Jaipur, passengers can expect an increase in General coaches from April 1 to April 30 departing from Jaipur and Udaipur respectively. 
  7. On Udaipur-Asarwa-Udaipur route, passengers can expect general coaches from April 2 to May 1 departing from Udaipur and Asarwa respectively.
