Tourists in Rajasthan to Get Help via Mobile App

Udaipur, March 6, 2025 - Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and Tourism Minister Diya Kumari announced in the Assembly that the state government will soon launch a mobile app to help tourists. The app will provide important services and information for visitors. The upcoming mobile app will give details about nearby police stations, hospitals, tourist places, transport options, and other useful information for travelers.

TAF booths have been set up at major tourist sites like Jantar Mantar, Jal Mahal, Amer, Hawa Mahal, and Albert Hall to help visitors. The TAF has handled:

  • 236 complaints in 2022

  • 311 complaints in 2023

  • 541 complaints in 2024

In 2024, action was taken against 170 touts in Jaipur. To improve security, the number of TAF personnel was increased from 139 to 250 in December 2024.

Rs 100 Crore for Jaipur’s Walled City

The government has allocated Rs 100 crore for the development of Jaipur’s walled city in 2024-25. The Tourism Minister stressed that improving and protecting tourist sites is a top priority.
