In response to a notable increase in tourist arrivals, the Rajasthan government has opted to introduce fresh tourism experiences, including crafts and cuisine tourism, in order to entice a larger number of travelers to the region. Addressing this initiative, an official highlighted that these offerings not only have the potential to enhance tourism but also play a pivotal role in supporting livelihoods by fostering self-employment opportunities.

The services will be accessible in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, and Bikaner, facilitated in collaboration with the Department of Industries. Additionally, the preservation of fading crafts will be managed through the Virasat Museum in Jaipur, as well as in all state museums under the jurisdiction of the Art and Culture Department.

Furthermore, there exists a strategy to elevate Rajasthani cuisine awareness by means of food festivals and the establishment of gourmet cuisine trails. As per statements from the tourism department, the year 2022 witnessed a footfall of more than 100 million domestic tourists in the state.

In addition to this, the tourism department is actively formulating fresh tourist circuits within the state's borders. Notably, there has been a notable rise in religious tourism in recent times. Recognizing this trend, the state government has allocated a budget exceeding Rs. 24 crore to invigorate the realm of religious tourism.
