It is WORLD TOURISM DAY on 27th September and RAJASTHAN TOURISM is planning to launch its official app on this day. Tourists visiting Rajasthan will very soon have an official application providing authentic information and access to the state tourism department.

The app will be made available on the Google Play Store for the Android users. An official version for the iOS users is under development and will be launched in the coming weeks. The Director for Department of Tourism, Rajasthan, Jaipur, said that the app will have all information pertaining to tourist spots, means of transport, and other services.

The Director Nishant Jain said, “On click of a finger, the user will be able to know if the local service provider is registered with the department. It will add safety and extend assurance to the visitors.” Though the information regarding tourism is available on the website, yet the app will prove to be very convenient for the mobile friendly travelers and since the app is official, the authenticity of the information is but obvious.

The tourist season is not far, in fact it has already picked up. The availability of the app much in time will provide the much needed boost for Rajasthan tourism.
