Rajasthan has seen a significant increase in railway passengers resulting in ticket shortages for the public. The North Western Railway has plans to increase the number of temporary coaches starting from May 1, 2023. This is focused on passenger demand. 

Passengers can book tickets beforehand to take advantage os increased capacity:

• Temporary increase in Train No. 22481/22482 (Jodhpur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Jodhpur) from May 1-31, 2023 and from Delhi Sarai Rohilla May 2-June 1, 2023

• Train No. 12479/12480 (Jodhpur-Bandra Terminus-Jodhpur) temporarily increased from May 3-June 2, 2023 and from Bandra Terminus May 4-June 3, 2023

• Train No. 22471/22472 (Bikaner-Delhi Sarai-Bikaner) temporarily augmented with 3 second sleeper class coaches from May 1-31, 2023 and from Delhi Sarai May 3-June 2, 2023

• Train No. 20473/20474 (Delhi Sarai-Udaipur City-Delhi Sarai) temporarily increased with 3 second sleeper class coaches from May 1-31, 2023 and from Udaipur City May 2-June 1, 2023

• Train No. 22475/22476 (Hisar-Coimbatore-Hisar) temporarily increased with 1 second AC class coach from May 3-31, 2023 and from Coimbatore May 6-June 3, 2023

• Train No. 14707/14708 (Bikaner-Dadar-Bikaner) temporarily augmented with 1 second AC and 4 second sleeper class coaches from May 1-31, 2023 and from Dadar May 2-June 1, 2023

• Train No. 20971/20972 (Udaipur City-Shalimar-Udaipur City) temporarily augmented with 1 third AC class coach from May 6-27, 2023 and from Shalimar May 7-28, 2023

• Train No. 12991/12992 (Udaipur-Jaipur-Udaipur) temporarily augmented with 2 second ordinary, 1 second chair car, and 1 third AC class coaches from May 1-31, 2023

• Train No. 14801/14802 (Jodhpur-Indore-Jodhpur) temporarily increased with 1 second ordinary class and 1 third AC class coach from May 1-31, 2023 and from Indore May 4-June 3, 2023

• Train No. 12465/12466 (Indore-Jodhpur-Indore) temporarily increased with 1 third AC and 1 second ordinary class coach from May 2-June 1, 2023 and from Jodhpur May 3-June 2, 2023

• Train No. 12495/12496 (Bikaner-Kolkata-Bikaner) temporarily increased with 1 third AC class coach from May 4-25, 2023 and from Kolkata May 5-26, 2023

• Train No. 20471/20472 (Bikaner-Puri-Bikaner) temporarily increased with 1 third AC class coach from May 7-28, 2023 and from Puri May 10-31, 2023
