Udaipur residents to soon enjoy upgraded facilities at both major city stations as modernisation work nears completion
Udaipur, July 4, 2025 - Udaipur's two major railway stations — Udaipur City and Rana Pratap Nagar — are undergoing rapid transformation under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Udaipur residents will soon benefit from high-level passenger amenities and new station buildings at as development work is progressing rapidly at both stations.

Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, various passenger facility-related development works are being carried out at 15 stations in the Ajmer division.
According to Senior Divisional Commercial Manager BCS Chaudhary, work on the main building of the Rana Pratap Nagar railway station is complete and minor finishing is currently underway. Additionally, work on the circulating area is in its final stages, with the construction of the boundary wall expected to be completed within this month. Platform-related construction work is ongoing and the platform shelter is nearly complete.
Divisional Railway Manager Raju Bhutda is personally monitoring the station development work and has issued necessary instructions to subordinate officials. All concerned authorities have been directed to complete the construction work at the earliest.
