To give an additional boost to tourism in lake city, a Rs 5 Cr adventure zone has been proposed in the Maniklal Verma Park, next to Dudh Talai. The adventure zone will be constructed in PPP mode in 1 year.

Tender for this has been floated and bids have been invited from firms. Technical bids for the construction will be opened on 27 Mar. Post allotment of the work order, the winning firm will have to complete the work in 12 months time.

Siddharth Sihag, CEO, Udaipur Smart City informed that the objective of development of this adventure park is to bolster tourism in the region. The project is estimated to cost Rs 5 Crore. This cost will be borne by the winning firm and the firm will also take responsibility for running the adventure park and taking care of its maintenance for 10 years.

Adventure park will host activities like Arial runway, zip line, all terrain vehicle, zorbing, trekking, under water walk, trampoline etc.

A 30 stall night market is also planned that will run from 5pm till 11pm. Theme of this night market will change every month. The market will have various stalls including food items.
