Udaipur, December 31, 2024 - The Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) buses have been non-functional for several years on the Nimbahera, Neemuch, Bari Sadri, and Chhoti Sadri routes. This has caused significant inconvenience to thousands of passengers.

High Fares and Overcrowded Private Buses
With no government bus service, people are forced to rely on private buses. They pay high fares and often risk their safety by traveling in overcrowded vehicles.

Memorandum Submitted to RSRTC Chief Manager
The Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat submitted a memorandum to RSRTC Chief Manager Hemant Sharma. The memorandum highlighted the issue and the urgent need for resuming services. It pointed out the high passenger load on these routes, especially from Udaipur, and emphasized the potential profitability for RSRTC.

Chief Manager Assures Action
Chief Manager Hemant Sharma admitted that he was unaware the buses on these routes had been halted for five years. He assured the delegation that the department would request additional buses from the government to restore services.

Local residents and daily commuters are hopeful for quick action. Restoring these bus services would provide affordable and safe travel options for thousands.
