Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) inaugurated its Jaipur-Delhi bus service via the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway on Saturday, March 16, 2024. This maiden journey marked a notable reduction in travel time, with the trip taking approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes, compared to the usual 7 hours duration.
RSRTC introduced two pairs of buses for this route, aiming to provide commuters with a faster and more efficient travel option. The second bus departing from Jaipur at 2:00 pm reached Delhi by 6:45 pm, demonstrating the efficiency of the new route.
Departing from Delhi, the RSRTC bus commenced its journey at 1:30 pm and arrived at its destination in Jaipur at 7:30 pm, further highlighting the improved travel times facilitated by the newly introduced route.
Interestingly, instead of the conventional Delhi Road route, the buses opted for the Agra Road after departing from the Sindhi Camp bus stand in Jaipur. This strategic decision contributed to the overall reduction in travel time.
Upon reaching Dausa, the buses seamlessly transitioned onto the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, a pivotal factor in expediting the journey between Jaipur and Delhi.
In response to the overwhelming positive feedback and increased demand, RSRTC is planning to enhance its service offerings on this route. The corporation is scheduled to introduce additional buses, with the second bus departing from Delhi slated for 11:15 pm, catering to commuters across various time preferences.
This initiative by RSRTC signifies a step forward in providing commuters with faster and more efficient intercity transportation options, ultimately contributing to the improvement of connectivity between Jaipur and Delhi.
