Udaipur, March 13,2025 - Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has announced development works for Bird Village Menar in the recent state budget. The government plans to promote rural tourism in Menar, benefiting the local community and preserving the village's natural beauty. The development will highlight rural culture and provide employment opportunities for villagers. When tourists visit, they will contribute to the local economy by spending on food, accommodation, and other services. The government aims to ensure that village tourism blends with the local way of life.
Tourists will be offered unique experiences such as overnight stays, bullock cart safaris, tractor safaris, and tent hut accommodations. These activities will generate income for villagers and enhance tourism in the area.
Vallabhnagar MLA Udai Lal Dangi has requested the government to transform Bird Village Menar into an Oxy Hub. He proposed large-scale tree plantations around the wetland to create a green belt in the Vallabhnagar assembly constituency.
The MLA has demanded ₹25 crore for plantation, fencing, and the development of a large garden. This initiative will improve the environmental quality and attract migratory birds from foreign countries, making Menar a popular eco-tourism destination.
