Schedule change for Mewar Express requested by MP CP Joshi

-The present schedule of Mewar Express is not comfortable for the passengers.

-The grounded trains must be re-started as a lot of people commute on those routes.

Chittorgarh MP CP Joshi met with Railway Board Chairman in Delhi on Wednesday. Hoping that the meeting is fruitful as the requests put forward by CP Joshi are in favour of the public with respect to train travels.

The MP has requested the Board to change the schedule of Mewar Express. The importance of schedule change is based on a valid suggestion. It was suggested that Mewar Express train that runs between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Udaipur must be rescheduled as the present timing of the train is not appropriate for the passengers who get down at various stations near Udaipur.

If this train is rescheduled and departs Hazrat Nizamuddin at 9 p.m., it would be highly convenient for the passengers who disembark at Chittorgarh, Kapasan, Mavli and Udaipur.

Joshi also asked for commencing the operations of grounded trains so as to enable the passengers to commute on those particular routes. He suggested for re-starting Udaipur-Madar Jn. (Ajmer) passenger trains 59603-04, Kota-Chittorgarh-Mandsaur passenger trains 59833-34, Mandsaur-Udaipur city passenger trains 59835-36, Ratlam-Yamuna Bridge Haldighati passenger trains 59811-12 at the earliest.
