Udaipur Airport Ranked 2nd Among Non Metro Airports of India

The Udaipur Airport has consistently maintained its top three ranking over the last 7 years

The Maharana Pratap Airport at Udaipur (4.97 points) has been placed second among the 56 Non Metro Airports across India in the latest Customer Satisfaction Survey. The Raja Bhoj Airport at Bhopal has secured the top spot among non metro airports in India, while the Jolly Grant Airport at Dehradun has taken third place.

Airports Authority of India conducts a Customer Satisfaction Survey twice every year to assess the quality check parameters applicable to customer services and satisfaction at non metro and metro airports across India. This survey was the first for 2023 and covers the period January to June. The Udaipur Airport has been consistently securing a spot in the top three non metro airports in India in the customer satisfaction survey. in 2022 the airport had secured top spot.

The parameters assessed in this survey include airport infrastructure, ground transport, luggage belt management, catering management, stall management, cleanliness, check in queue management, efficiency of check-in staff and security check staff, comprehensiveness of security check, staff behavior, information dissemination, ATM, Internet Access, Lounge Services, Washroom availability, cleanliness, speed of services, time management, etc.

The other non metro airports that have been assessed in the ranking include Jodhpur (12th rank), Kishengarh (15th), Bikaner (21st). The top 10 non metro airports (passenger movement below 20 lakh) include Bhopal, Udaipur, Dehradun, Bhuntar (HP), Gaggal Kangda (HP), Rajmundri (AP), Jammu Airport (JK), Madurai (TN), Gwalior (MP), Vijaywada (AP), Jharsuguda (Odisha)  and Agra (UP).
