Expression of Interest open till June 26; selected firm to manage app for four years
Udaipur, June 24, 2025 - Rajasthan’s Tourism Department is in the process of developing an app and application as a one-stop solution for tourists visiting the State. The department has already issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) to companies to develop these applications, with proposals due by 11:30 am on June 26. The selected developer will be responsible for the app’s operation over the next four years.
The app will be designed to provide a seamless and enriching experience for the annual 100 million tourists visiting Rajasthan. Through this platform, tourists can access information about the State's tourist destinations, hotels, travel routes and major cultural events. It will give details of site timings, cultural events, light-and-sound shows, heritage attractions, wedding destinations, popular restaurants and hotels, markets, art, theme-based travel plans, Palace-on-Wheels tours and more.
Additionally, this app will be integrated with the railway platform, allowing users to book train tickets directly. It will also include emergency service information. Users will be able to book tickets for cultural programs and tourist attractions that support online payments. The app will also send reminders as the event date approaches.
The app will feature a safety button with contact numbers for police, ambulance, fire services, railway, and other emergency services, enabling users to reach out directly.
Upon log-in, users can view their search history from the past month.
