Since the covid cases are on the decline, Indian Railways has decied to conduct the much awaited pilgrimage for the devotees.
The train will be operated in September covering Badrinath, Jagannath Puri, Rameshwaram, and Dwarkadhish.
Pilgrims are in for good news as their much awaited journey to the Char Dham will now be fulfilled. Indian Railways will operate a special train in September covering the 4 special pilgrimages Badrinath, Jagannath Puri, Rameshwaram, and Dwarkadhish.
Since the covid cases are on a decline in India, the 16-day pilgrimage will not be a dream anymore. The trip will start from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station on 18th September. The train will cover Badrinath, Narsingha Temple, Rishikesh, Jagannath Puri, Konark Sun Temple, Chandrabhaga beach, Rameshwaram, Dwarkadhis, Shivrajpur beach, and Bet Dwarka.
After the popularity and success of Sri Ramayana Yatra train, Indian Railways is launching “CharDham Yatra” by “Dekho Apna Desh” Deluxe AC Tourist train. The trip covers around 8500 kilometres.
The AC train has a host of astounding features including a modern kitchen, 2 fine dining restaurants, shower cubicles in coaches, sensor-based washroom functions and foot massager. The train has 2 types of accommodations- 1st AC and 2nd AC; it also has CCTV cameras and security guards for each coach. The fare for the package is around 79,000 rupees per person which includes train journey in AC classes, deluxe hotel accommodation, all meals, all transfers and sightseeing in AC vehicle (not for hilly areas), travel insurance and services of IRCTC Tour Managers. 120 tourists are allowed against the total capacity of 156.
Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory for the travel. Safety kits, masks, sanitisers, gloves etc. are provided in a safety kit by IRCTC.
