The North Western Railways has announced a special Udaipur-Ayodhya Dham Aastha Special Train that will leave Udaipur on 26 January. This train has been announced to provide an additional means of transport for the faithful to Ayodhya, after the upcoming consecration of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya on 22 Janaury.

As per the information provided by the Indian Railways, the train no. 09603 will depart from Udaipur on 26 January and reach Ayodhya on 27 January at 12:10pm. The return journey of this train will begin at 9:50pm on 28 January and reach Udaipur at 9:55pm on 29 January. The route will include stoppage at Mavli, Chitorgarh, Ajmer, Jaipur, Agra, Etawah and Kanpur. These will be the only trips that this train will make.

The train will have 22 ICF coaches, of which 6 will be 3rd AC coaches, 14 Sleeper and 2 SLR Coaches. The fare for Sleeper is Rs 1,420, while that of the Third AC is Rs 2,740. SLR coaches are reserved for railway personnel or luggage.
