SpiceJet has announced 20 new domestic flights in a bid to strengthen regional connectivity. The airline launched 16 new flights connecting Jaipur with Udaipur, Delhi, Amritsar and Dehradun among others. Jaipur will also be connected with Goa via Surat.
SpiceJet will also connect Pakyong with Kolkata. It may be noted that SpiceJet connected Pakyong with Delhi in 2018 under regional connectivity scheme-UDAN. Frequency of flights between Delhi and Dehradun will also be increased. Introductory promotional fares have been started ranging from 2400 rupees to 4000 rupees for the new flights.
Jaipur-Dehradun will operate 4 times a week, Jaipur-Amritsar will operate thrice a week. Jaipur sector connecting with Udaipur, Delhi, Goa will be operating on daily basis. Kolkata to Pakyong will operate five times a week.
The introduction of the new flights is going to be a boon for the travel lovers. Regional connectivity via air route will also benefit the Indian tourism industry as reaching different places will become convenient and the introductory fares are also quite affordable.
