Non-interlocking maintenance work is currently underway on the Barabanki-Ayodhya Cantt-Shahganj-Jafrabad rail section of the North Eastern Railway's Lucknow Division. As a result of this maintenance, there will be a change in the route for a train originating from Udaipur.
Starting from January 15, 2024 the Udaipur City-Kamakhya Express (Train No. 19615) will follow a diverted path via Barabanki-Gonda-Gorakhpur from its departure point at Udaipur City. Passengers are advised to take note of this alteration in the train's route.
Similarly, the Kamakhya-Udaipur City Express (Train No. 19616) departing from Kamakhya on January 18, 2024 will take an adjusted route. It will travel via Gorakhpur-Gonda-Barabanki before reaching its destination in Udaipur.
Travelers on these routes are encouraged to check for any further updates or announcements related to this temporary change in train routes.
