Traffic on Chittorgarh–Udaipur highway will remain disrupted from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am owing to load testing of a 36-span bridge near Debari
Udaipur, Dec 9, 2025 - Traffic on the Chittorgarh-Udaipur section of National Highway 48 will remain affected from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am on December 9, and again from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am on December 10. During this period, vehicle movement will either remain suspended or diverted through alternative routes.
This is owing to load testing process to be conducted on a 36-span bridge near Debari by the NHAI (National Highways Authority of India) after its repair work. This test is essential to ensure the bridge’s strength and safety.
NHAI officials have requested the Udaipur Superintendent of Police, Udaipur District Collector and concerned police stations to ensure effective traffic management and safety arrangements during this period.
Drivers and commuters are advised to take note of the timings and cooperate.
