The route diversion of the two trains is owing to technical work on the Jhaua-Salmari rail section under Katihar division

Udaipur, May 6, 2025 - Technical work is being carried out on the Jhaua-Salmari rail section under the Katihar division of the Northeast Frontier Railway. Owing to this, the below mentioned North Western Railway services will be affected, according to Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway:
Trains Diverted:
Train number 19602: New Jalpaiguri-Udaipur City rail service, scheduled to depart from New Jalpaiguri on May 5 and 12, 2025, will operate via the diverted route through Kumedpur.
Train number 19615: Udaipur City-Kamakhya rail service, scheduled to depart from Udaipur City on May 5 and 12, 2025, will operate via the diverted route through Kumedpur.
