BRICS Summit 2026: Train Service Impacted
Northern Railway has issued an advisory detailing diversions of some long-distance trains and other revisions including cancellation and time change
UdaipurTimes, Sept 12, 2026 - The 18th BRICS Leaders’ Summit is being held in New Delhi from September 12 to 13, 2026. Owing to this event, around 120 trains movement will be impacted because of safety and operational arrangements. This change will continue until Sunday, September 13, 2026, according to the Indian Railways.
As a result, the route and timings of several trains passing through Delhi has been changed. Northern Railway has issued an advisory detailing diversions of some long-distance trains and other revisions including cancellation and time change.
The railway administration has advised travellers to check the current status of their train well in advance before travel. Passengers can check updates on the National Train Enquiry System or alternately, call the railway helpline number.
