Two-day Free Bus Ride for Women on Raksha Bandhan
Women can travel for free across Rajasthan in Roadways buses on August 9 and 10
Udaipur, Aug 6, 2025 - Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has announced two-day free travel for women in the State on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Women will be able to avail this facility on August 9 (Raksha Bandhan) and August 10 within the State borders in Roadways Department buses.
Earlier, this exemption was provided only for one day (on Raksha Bandhan itself), but for the first time, free travel has been announced for two days. Additionally, on August 9, travel will also be free for women in all low-floor buses operated by JCTSL.
