India has added UAE to the list of countries whose vaccination completion certificate is accepted when travelling to India. Earlier, only passengers who held Indian vaccination certificates were exempted from taking the PCR test before travel to India from UAE; however from today onwards, those passengers who have been vaccinated in the UAE, will also be exempted from the PCR test.

Passengers must upload their vaccination certificate(s) on the Air Suvidha portal and children below the age of 5 are exempted from any PCR testing. Passengers who hold vaccination certificates from countries that have not been approved by India, must take the PCR test 72 hours before the time of travel.
