Udaipur, December 27,2024 - The Udaipur-Agra Vande Bharat train narrowly escaped a major accident on Thursday when miscreants placed an iron rod on the railway track. The quick action of the loco pilot prevented a derailment.
Rod Found on Tracks
At around 9:20 AM, unidentified individuals placed a 3-4 feet long iron rod on the tracks near Bundi station. The loco pilot applied the brakes just in time, stopping the train and averting a potential disaster. The sudden halt displaced the rod from the track. The train remained halted for about 8-10 minutes as the staff informed the control room. The situation was brought under control, and the train resumed its journey shortly thereafter.
Minor Delay at Kota Station
Despite the incident, the train reached Kota station at 9:55 AM, only 5 minutes behind schedule.
Investigation Underway
