Udaipur Airfares Drop as Mahakumbh Rush Declines

International air travel from Udaipur to rise; high fares expected for Holi festival
 
Udaipur Airfare Expected to Rise During Holi

Udaipur, March 3, 2025 - After the Mahakumbh rush from January 15 to February 26, airfares from Udaipur to major cities like Jaipur, Delhi, and Mumbai have dropped significantly. International travel from Udaipur, which had declined by 70%, is now expected to rise from March 15.

Due to high airfares and the Mahakumbh pilgrimage, international travel from Udaipur dropped by 70% in January and February. However, from March 15 to April, bookings are increasing. Around 70% of travelers are choosing Singapore, Bangkok-Pattaya, and Dubai, while 30% are booking trips to the USA, UK, Germany, and Switzerland. On March 12, 13, and 14, airfares may rise by 100% due to the Holika festival. However, after Holi, prices are expected to normalize again.

Domestic Airfares Drop by 80-100%

With the Mahakumbh rush over, ticket prices from Udaipur to Jaipur, Delhi, and Mumbai have returned to normal.

  • Udaipur to Jaipur: Rs 6,500/- to Rs 10,000/- (Earlier Rs 13,000/- to  Rs 18,000/-)

  • Udaipur to Delhi: Rs 6,000/- to Rs 10,500/-(Earlier Rs 9,000/- to Rs 15,000/-)

  • Udaipur to Mumbai: Rs 6,500/- to Rs 11,000/- (Earlier Rs 12,000/- to Rs 17,000/-)
